2014年1月22日 · Sabian does have the FXR which seems like a nice cymbal, but obviously much louder than a traditional so called “silent” cymbal. I just wonder how much louder Mehmet X-Ray Silents and Turkish FX Silents are compared to Quite Tone or LV80’s.

2017年12月20日 · They sound loud for practice cymbals. My L80's are a perfect compliment to mesh heads. That guy in the video was playing with a full acoustic kit and the cymbals were easily heard over the mylar heads. I love Sabian cymbals (I have about 50 of them) but I wonder if these are really meant to compete with the L80's in the "quiet practice" department.

2017年12月7日 · When I first started acquiring good cymbals in the 1980s I went with Sabian. The reason was of the big 3, Sabian had the lower prices in general. I had a crash, a couple of rides and a hi-hat. Mostly AA, but I did own an HH too. I no longer have any of them. Though technically, I'm letting someone "borrow" one.
