Is Xcloud down or something, Fortnite is the only game available
FortNite is only available on the browser in order to not require 30% cut for Apple and Google. The app has all in-app purchases disabled. Since FortNite is free to play, MS can't earn from the subscription revenues.
Does anyone know how to enable voice chat for cloud gaming
2023年3月23日 · So I play Fortnite on Xbox Cloud gaming because it's easier for me and also on the go gaming for me. I try to use voice chat but it doesn't' seem to activate or work, I know my microphone is on but people don't seem to hear me. I play on my MacBook as well so if anyone knows how to set it up or send a screen recording, that would be great.

2023年9月9日 · I don't think it's anything to do with paid users or f2p fortnite users. I think it's dependent on the game. Ex: Fortnite having incredibly long queues since so many people cloud gaming it, same with starfield. I queued for starfield, got a estimate of about 50 mins. Switched to queue of Ghost Recon: Wildlands (great game btw) and was in instantly.

2022年5月17日 · Probably optimized for web first. That took priority due to iOS, and getting the game on there. Web version of xCloud uses different technology than the native apps, RainWay vs In-house. They may have to create a separate section on the apps for free to play games.

2021年4月30日 · Ok but the xCloud version is just running on an Xbox. Fortnite is already on Xbox and uses Microsoft's commerce engine. Microsoft takes their cut on Xbox. xCloud is only accessible by Game Pass Ultimate subscribers and the vast majority of them are Xbox owners who likely own and play on a physical console when at home.

And more generally, there are some benefits to cloud gaming even when a game is also natively available: no downloading, no updating, no storage usage, way less battery drain, better graphics, better frame rate, ability to play on very low end devices, integration with Xbox, etc.
