2013年2月18日 · You are using 64-bit SQL Server which is looking to the 64-bit ODBC sources when the drivers are 32-bit. There is a workaround for FoxPro (also DBF) that should work for dBASE as well: Open a new SqlDataSource in Visual Studio using the .NET Framework Provider for OLE DB then MS OLE DB Provider for VFP.

2017年3月6日 · Then add the DANS DBF file to the driver manager; Make sure you change the file filter type to .dbf as you did otherwise it will hide all .dbf files. Make a new connction and you are good to go! a few things to note. I found that the file type extension is case sensitive so if you filter by .dbf then .DBF will not show up in the connection.

2012年5月8日 · From your coment about ~1GB database, I too work with VFP Databases (.dbf) file formats, and SQL-Updates work no problem via OleDbCommand creation / execution, and can work with whatever native commands the VFP OleDbProvider runs.

I found out the accepted answer didn't work for me, as the .dbf files I'm working with are nested in a hierarchy of directories that makes the paths rather long, which, sadly, cause the OleDbCommand object to throw. Note that you don't add the ".dbf" extension (it's assumed - as a matter of fact, the file has to have the .dbf extension or it won't be recognized and read, at least in my experience). EDIT. I've had the "privilege" of working with DBF files (hundreds to thousands at a time) more than I'd like.
