2020年10月13日 · old hondas are sometimes set up that way - they'll keep the stock cam profile on the low-rpm lobes, and then put a stage 2 grind on the high-rpm lobes. you definitely leave some on the table getting off the line, but you keep stock efficiency and driveability below 5.5k rpm. rev it up to 5-9k and you get the wild cam's power.
Why does detuning things sound good? : r/musictheory - Reddit
2020年6月25日 · Detuning adds richness because the harmonics start adding and subtracting to each other in more complex ways that vary with time. If you are playing 2 synth notes at 440 hz, every cycle is exactly the same, but if one is detuned, then the cycles are different lengths so they don't line up exactly and each cycle ends up a little different

Do you detune your edges? : r/snowboarding - Reddit
What you're describing is the opposite of what I'm asking, you're describing detuning the tip and tail, whereas I'm asking about detuning in the middle (between the bindings I guess). Edge detuning for catchy skis : r/skiing - Reddit
2018年10月23日 · Personally I wouldn't detune a ski, but I'm an aggressive skier that wants the edge hold at high speed. Detuning is more likely to cause the ski to loose hold mid turn and I won't be able to ski as aggressively. The only time I have detuned tips and tails is with old school straight skis 200+ when you really did have to pivot the ski.
