Upfitter Switches - Absolutely no power to be found
2023年9月25日 · Hey, I am finishing a AUX fuel tank install and I wanted to use a electric cut off valve to control it (there is a manual one installed for a back up). I went to just tap into the factory upfitter switches and found no power at the cut factory wires. I have checked every single fuse and relay in the system.

2012年2月8日 · 1st thing to find is the upfitter power wires, they are above and left of the steering column, mine were actually taped on top of the harness and could not be seen by just looking up from the pedal area. 2nd thing is locating the pass thru wires, they are in the wire bundle at the emergency brake pedal assembly.

2010年3月5日 · If the upfitter switch was in the off position a "Normally Closed" relay hooked to the OEM horn will keep it active and when you throw the upfitter switch the "Normally Closed" relay will open the circuit deactivating the OEM Horn and the "Normally Open" relay hooked to the train horn will connect that circuit.
